tavern faq’s

  • Yes, both our outdoor and indoor spaces at all locations are accessible and fully ADA compliant.

  • Our beer gardens are dog friendly during regular business hours. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in our music rooms or at ticketed beer garden events.

  • Reservations are always recommended, but we also welcome walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Our beer gardens feature heaters for chilly evenings and umbrellas and shade sails for sunny days—ready for any weather!

  • We accept cash, all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

  • Yes! Our beer gardens and restaurants are family friendly during regular business hours. We do ask that children remain seated at the table. Please note that some late-night shows or events may be 21+.

  • We offer free parking. Availability may vary during busy hours and events, so we recommend arriving early.

  • Yes — our menus feature a limited selection of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free items. Ask your server for recommendations or view our menu online, and always alert your server of any allergies or dietary restrictions.

  • Yes! HopMonk gift cards can be purchased in person or online for any custom amount.

  • We are always accepting applications. If interested in applying, please drop off your resume with a manager at the location of your choice.

Ticketing faq’s

  • Click “Live Music” in the top navigation, choose your location, then select the show you’d like to attend.

    Eventim/See Tickets is our official ticketing partner and the only authorized ticket seller.

  • Unfortunately there is a fee for every ticket sold., both online or at the door.

  • As long as it is not sold out.

  • We sometimes open tickets up at the door. Get here before doors open and check with a manager / box office or call the tavern ahead of time to confirm ticket availability.

  • No. All ticket sales are final.

  • You can send your tickets to a third party via email or print out and hand it to them.

live music faq’s

  • Food is not allowed in our music rooms for most ticketed events, but our beergarden and taverns will be open for food service so you can still dine with us before the show. Reservations highly recommended.

  • Yes! Our Tavern Bar is open during business hours, The Abbey & Session Room Bars are open during music room events.

  • Seating layouts vary from show to show. They range from fully seated, to partially seated to standing room only. Seating availability will be noted in the show description on the ticket link.

  • It depends on the event. Some shows are all ages, some are restricted to 21+. 

    Age limitations are noted in the show description. No matter the age, everyone is required to have a ticket to attend. Please bring an ID.

  • If the event is listed as 21+ you will not be admitted.

  • Yes, bring your printed tickets or show them on your mobile device along with VALID PHOTO ID for entry.

  • Absolutely, the shows are all ages. Kids (no matter the age) require a ticket for entry, no babes in arms or strollers please.

  • Yes, the event takes place in HopMonk Novato's outdoor venue.

  • Yes! We are located in the Vintage Oaks Shopping Center, where parking is free and ample.

  • Seating is limited and on a first-come basis. You can use LOW-PROFILEBACK CHAIRS that are NO HIGHER THAN 9 INCHES off the ground in the grassy hillside area only. Table seating is available at the hilltop, great for large groups. Seating arrangements vary per show. Some shows have an open dance floor, while others are mostly or partially seated. See the description on the ticket link for more information so you can plan accordingly.

  • Yes, A.D.A. seating is available upon request, though space is limited. Contact the venue when you purchase your tickets to reserve your seats:

  • No, however empty reusable water bottles are allowed. We have water stations where you can fill them.

  • Yes, there is a full bar on the ground level. There is also an “Everything But Draft” bar on the hillside.

  • Restrooms are inside the Tavern. Ensure your wristband is visible for re-entry.
