Sonoma County's beloved roots reggae rockers have been moving dancers and listeners for over 10 years with their unique brand of mystic high vibes music. Driven by the raw energy of front man Michael Litwin and anchored by a stellar rhythm section featuring former members of Groundation and Les Claypools Frog Brigade, Sol serves up a powerful auditory experience that blends roots reggae with elements of progressive rock and electronic dance music. With lyrics that touch on themes of peace, community, sustainability and the re-vitalizing power of nature, the band moves feet and inspires minds, creating a positive musical experience that continues to attract fans from across the globe.

In recent years, Sol has shared the stage with legendary acts like Morgan Heritage, The Twinkle Brothers, Prezident Brown, Collie Buddz, The Meditations, Eek-A-Mouse, Don Carlos and the J.G.B. Band (to name just a few) bringing a message of peace and conscious living to audiences across the USA. After several tours through California and the Hawaiian Islands backing British roots reggae maestro Pato Banton, Sol Horizon recorded their 3rd album "Party Revolution" which featured Pato on the title track. The band has recently expanded on its unique style of reggae with a 4th album, "Ready For Action- released in early June of 2012. The chemistry in the band is better than ever, so expect to hear great things from Sol Horizon for many years to come.
